Vijay's 'Bairavaa'- Latest update on completion status

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Bairavaa' is marching towards the finish line. The latest information we learn from the makers is that more than 85% of the shooting has been completed.

The source also adds that the entire shoot will be wrapped by November mid. This includes the remaining parts of talkie portions, patch work and also a song to be shot in a foreign locality.

With this pace, the makers are very much on track for the Pongal 2017 release target.

'Bairavaa' is being directed by Bharathan and produced by Vijaya Productions banner. The film stars Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. The first teaser can be expected to be released as a Diwali 2016 treat for Vijay fans.

‘VIJAY 60’ TITLE : ANNOUNCED ON GANESH CHATURTHI

The title of Vijay’s forthcoming movie will be announced on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, on Sept. 5. The news came as a surprise to many as the makers had not given any signs of the name being revealed at this stage.

Giving a hint about the announcement of the title on Ganesh Chaturthi, public relations professional Riaz K Ahmed tweeted, “#Breaking :- #Ilayathalapathy @actorvijay ‘s #Thalapathy60 Title will be announced in few days. [sic]” Sources say that it will be a catchy title with multiple words and not a single-word name as reported by a section of media earlier.

It has to be noted that since 2000, only two of Vijay’s films (“Puthiya Geethai” and “Azhagiya Tamil Magan”) have had multiple-word titles. In the last nine years, all his films had one-word names. For the latest venture, “Enga Veetu Pillai,” “Namma Veetu Pillai” and “Unga Veetu Pillai” are the three names that have been doing the rounds.Daniel Balaji, Sathish, Mimi Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra and others are playing supporting roles. Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod play the female leads in “Vijay 60,” which features Santhosh Narayanan’s music, M Sukumar’s editing and Praveen KL’s editing.

“Vijay 60” is written and directed by Bharathan, and funded by Vijaya Productions.

What Is The Team Of 'Vijay 60' Upto?

According to the latest report, the team of Ilayathalapathy's 'Vijay 60' has successfully completed 60 days of shooting during which 2 songs involving Vijay and Keerthy Suresh were filmed. Shooting has been going on at the outskirts of the city. It is said that the team is expected to shoot in Chennai for the remaining days of this month before heading to Andhra Pradesh, where important stunt sequences will be shot.

Recently the team denied reports claiming that the film has been titled 'Enga Veetu Pillai'. Urging fans to wait for the official announcement, sources close to the project also requested movie enthusiasts not to spread rumours about the much anticipated film. Tipped to be a musical thriller, 'Vijay 60' is expected to hit the big screen during Pongal festival next year. Being directed by Bharathan, 'Vijay 60' is bankrolled by Bharathi under Vijaya Productions.
